Love, ah what a conflicting emotion. Is it merely lust with a fancy name? If not, does it exist?
Ahh the question that has been asked since the dawn of time, along with the question of our origins and the question of what exists after death.
A conundrum, needless to say. What do we know?
For me, the answers to those questions are obvious. Love exists and is not lust--it is a pure and holy emotion that stems for the want of making someone happy, even if it hurts myself. Not only that, but it does exist. It's like a flawless sapphire of nature--rare but priceless. When found, it should never be let go. How do I know? Because I believe in the concept of soul friends. I don't say mates because well the word is weird. Soul friend. A person who you'd give everything for. A person whose happiness is more important than my own. A person, though not sexual or matrimonial, that we care deeply for. Soul friends can be any gender because the concept is without sex. --Yes I am a person who is against homosexuality. Bite me. I don't care what other people do and I understand people choose to believe what they will, but I expect the same in return. I'll respect your choice if you respect mine.--
I feel I have a soul friend, and though she goes through a lot of pain, and sometime seems as if she'd not want to talk to me, I'll never want to leave her side. I trust her and I'll do anything for her if I could and don't expect anything in return. I don't want to expect anything in return. I just want her happy. I can't say the same for many else.
If soul friends exist, I believe pure love exists. A man and a woman's relationship is nothing more than soul-friends, but on a different but equal level. In this case, love between a man and woman can be expressed through sex, but is not limited to or even needed to be expressed in such a manner. Between a man and woman, love serves as a binding and sex can but doesn't have to reinforce that. Sex in my own mind is only to reproduce. Can be recreational, but shouldn't be only for that. God wanted man and woman to become on so another could be born from such holy bonding. Soul friends need not do this, because they choose better ways to express love.
Love is a holy thing, but unfortunately it is not permanent. It is something that must be reinforced to keep going. If you allow it to go stagnant--and I do mean where, though together, you cannot enjoy eachothers company--you must rekindle it. If under stress or hardship it will break, unless you reinforce it. Communication and determination can guarentee this, but you have to work at it. Letting it go solves nothing. And silent treatments do nothing but let the pain/anger/annoyance fester and grow. Communicate and let the other know.
As for the origin of man and his fate after death? I'm a christian and the those question is easy. Origin of life: God. Fate of man after death: Depending on whether we have accepted Jesus and God into our heart, heaven or hell.
Others will disagree with me, and I don't care. Everythin in this world takes faith to believe in. Science isn't exact. It takes faith to believe in science, just like religion. I have faith that God exists and has given eveeryone a destiny whether we choose to take it up or not. Anyone who disagrees with me will not change that belief, no matter what they say. That's what faith is and I will always strive to believe in God with all my heart.

Hey, what can I say? Gotta love music. lol ^^ Don't worry, My mom does the same to me. I like listening to so much, but my music irritates her. She only likes country. And anything foreign that isn't german bug my dad. Ah well. At least we ain't the only, ne?
Yeah. My dad got me into most forms of music (him being a Country, Rock, Heavy Metal, Soul, R&B, Jazz lover that he is). Some of my friends got me interested in foreign music (Angel who got me into German and Hispanic, Tiffa who got me into Japanese pop/rock, Gloria who got me into Korean pop/rock) and Nori who got me into rap, though I swore I didn't like it five years ago. lol! Ehh, ces't la vie.
And recently I got myself into Indonesian or Indian (I'm not overly sure...) from the International Channel. They have some interesting music.
.....damn, and I swore I wouldn't ramble. ._.;;; Sorry about that.
You kiddin? I love hearing the story behind wide views. I ended up finding all about video game music and stuff, and it turns out that there's music formats of all my fave games (sans one... nobody can seem to rip the music from it!) so I ended up downloading Zelda 64 music, a ton of Nintendo classic tunes, and even more SNES game music. Sooo sweet.
Ahhh yes, video game music. I am a fan of Suikoden music myself. When I get the chance, I'm buying the OSTs, remixes, and specials when I can. I particularly like Suikoden II.
Sadly enough, I've never played any of the Zelda games. *weeps* And three of my friends own most of the games. I don't have a gamecube/nintendo 64/the power cord to my SNES, so I can't borrow them. ;_;
But, I do have the OST of FF Mystic Quest. I have to say the remixes are wicked. Unbelievably.
Power cord to SNES? That seems to break the most. Cuz I know two people who have looked for SNES power cords, and uh... the only thing I can suggest there is Radio shack, something that fits the port and 9V DC.
